Banking sab exams,
ek jagah.
Banking sector recruitment in India is the second largest annual public-sector hiring channel after the Railways, with roughly 30-40 lakh candidates applying for 25,000-40,000 aggregate vacancies every year. The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) conducts a Common Recruitment Process for 11 Public Sector Banks across Probationary Officer, Clerk, Specialist Officer and Regional Rural Bank cadres. The State Bank of India (SBI) runs its own exams for PO, Clerk and Specialist Cadre Officer roles. The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) conducts the highly competitive Grade B Officer (General / DEPR / DSIM) and Assistant exams. NABARD, SIDBI and the major life and general insurance corporations (LIC AAO, NIACL AO) round out the sector. Most exams follow a three-tier Prelims → Mains → Interview architecture with 0.25 negative marking and an 80:20 Mains-to-Interview merit weightage.
