Paper 1 — Objective CBT

Paper 1 shortlists candidates for Paper 2. From 2026, the CBT has SECTIONAL TIMING — Hindi and English each get exactly 60 minutes, after which the section auto-locks. Final merit uses Paper 1 + Paper 2 combined scores. Minimum qualifying: UR 30%, OBC/EWS 25%, SC/ST/PwBD/ESM 20%.
